For the scope of the Brazilian Multipurpose Reactor, we prepared the conceptual and basic electromechanical civil designs – 30 MW unit of the research reactor.

RMB is a research reactor that serves several purposes. It also houses in its facilities an entire laboratory infrastructure to carry out research and other objectives.

RMB is also capable of producing radioisotopes that are needed in Brazil and that were previously imported. As a result, the risk of shortages and costs for the production of radiopharmaceuticals and tests were reduced.
