Located on the Teles Pires River, the Sinop Hydroelectric Power Plant has an installed capacity of 400 MW, enough energy to supply 1.6 million people, equivalent to 50% of the population of Mato Grosso, which makes it the largest hydroelectric power plant in the Teles complex Saucer.

Intertechne was responsible for the basic and executive designs (civil and electromechanical) of the enterprise, which was released for the operation of its first turbine in 2019.

One of the main objectives of the scope was to reduce environmental impacts to the region’s ecosystem as much as possible.
