For the project of the second largest hydroelectric plant in Mexico, Intertechne prepared the basic and executive designs for civil works including substation, auxiliary buildings and resident engineering services (in consortium).

El Cajón HPP was built on the Santiago River between 2003 and 2007 and has an installed capacity of 750 MW. After its opening, it was responsible for the 8% increase in the country’s electric power production.
